1、 Overview
The magnetostrictive line liquid level/displacement transmitter is based on the magnetostrictive induction principle with torsional wave as the propagation medium, and the standard analog signal output accurately corresponding to the displacement/liquid level is formed after the induction signal is processed by the measuring circuit and the SOC high-performance microcontroller. This transmitter makes use of the generation mechanism and principle of magnetostrictive torsional wave, and fully adopts the advanced MAGNETOSTRICTIVE technology to make a high-precision, stable and reliable liquid level/displacement measurement product. This product is widely used in various industrial sites for bearing oil tank liquid level and guide vane servomotor displacement measurement.

3、 Principle
When ferromagnetic materials are placed in a magnetic field, their geometric dimensions will change. When the polarized ferromagnetic rod is deformed, it will cause the change of magnetic field strength in the rod. This variable effect is called magnetostrictive effect. Based on the principle of reverse magnetostrictive effect, the magnetostrictive line liquid level/displacement transmitter applies an excitation pulse in the electronic head to cause the ceramic exciter to produce a torsional stress wave. The stress wave travels down the waveguide wire and produces deformation at the polarized part, The deformation causes the magnetic field change in the polarized waveguide wire, and the position signal is obtained through the processing of the receiving and measuring circuit. The calculated signal is the liquid level or displacement to be detected.
